A few weeks ago my family and I attended the wood boat show in Port Townsend. Port Townsend is such a beautiful town, and it was one of the first places I ventured out to here in Washington. There are dozens of little shops to wander in and out of. My favorite store there is called Conservatory. I could spend an entire day in there simply looking around and of course buying everything up.
Anyways, back to the boat show. Lots of wooden boats, lots of “no touching” signs. After getting the kids faces painted, the boy wanted a small dinosaur and my sweet girl was a princess hippopotamus. We quickly moved through the boats and walked the main street and came upon a open area with sand and sun. My kiddos immediately asked to go play, so we did. There were other children there with the most adorable wooded sailboats (hello, Christmas!) and they shared with my litte ones. If you get the chance to head to Port Townsend, do it!
